Trusts & foundations fundraising
I offer project-based or retained support as an external fundraiser or vacancy cover. I am experienced in the full Trusts fundraising function, from prospect research to create a prioritised pipeline, to developing projects and budgets, creating a well-structured case for support - a resource bank to underpin your bids, bidwriting for project/core/capital funding, as well as impact reporting, sourcing case studies, strategic reviews and forecasting.
Recent clients include Rentstart (UK) Ltd, Access the Dales, Independent Arts, Shakespeare Walk Adventure Playground Association

I am one of the team that delivers Lime Green’s brilliant fundraising training courses, and you can have a read of my post for their extremely helpful fundraising blog, all about impact reporting when it’s not easy to measure impact.
Support for artists and creatives

I have supported clients to define their brand voice or create their promotional strategy, as well as planning and delivering focused PR, social media and email campaigns, creating simple websites, copywriting for web and print, and editing/proofreading marketing materials. Case Study
I led a fundraising project for Jubilee Primary School’s charity, a partnership between the School, its PTA (a registered charity) and Stokey Energy (a local grassroots community energy group), which raised the £64,000 needed to install solar panels on the school’s large, south-facing flat roof.
Over the course of 14 months, I led a multi-channel fundraising and communications campaign:
delivered a community consultation with the Student Council at the school’s summer fair to generate interest and buzz,
collaborated on Stokey Energy’s successful funding bid to Hackney’s community energy fund,
created a Regular Giving appeal to parents with the Headteacher,
helped the PTA team organise community fundraising events including a summer fair,
created regular communications to engage the school community - termly newsletters, updates for the school newsletter, Instagram posts, information boards, fundraising appeal updates for parents, governors and staff,
managed individual donations and supporter fundraisers through JustGiving, including a Governor who ran the Brighton marathon dressed as the sun.
The panels were installed in July 2024 and within one year the school had improved its official energy rating from D to C (a school target) and saved £13,000 on its energy bills, which can now be better spent on the children’s learning.
“There appears to be a saving of £13k annually. Am super-thrilled with this, huge thanks as ever!”
